中国画的发展必须依照“中国方式”——集中国传统文化底蕴（诗、书、画）为一体的观点——“诗情画意”是中国画的灵魂和中国画发展方向……；诗情画意也是世界美术的发展方向。

之所以中国画与西方绘画在价格、“影响力”差距颇大，究其原因笔者认为：

一、因为清朝后期以来国力、经济的欠发达，外交能力的滞后等等因素，导致我国在世界上地位低下，各个方面竞争力、话语权，不同程度的软弱，以至丧失。

二、中国文化博大精深、含而不露，被称为“包子文化”；西方文化通俗易懂、张扬外显，被称为“匹萨文化”；中国是包子文化，而西方是披萨文化。包子的馅被包子皮重重裹住，只有咬开包子皮才能够看到里面的馅，披萨则不同，无论是火腿还是牛肉它总是嵌在表面的，让人一目了然。因此上，对中国文化的不了解，也造成其（中国画与西方绘画）价格因素与影响力的不足的重要原因。

三、绘画技法相对于文化内涵是单一，容易掌握；而中国画的丰富文化底蕴，不是表面上的“光鲜靓丽”所能够代表（代替）的。现在，改革开放中国的和平崛起，国力逐渐强盛，经济逐渐发达，国际地位显著提升，我相信富含中国传统文化底蕴的中国画，“诗情画意”特征不断彰显，话语权、影响力也会有空前地提升…，我相信，中国画的价格，在不久的将来，一定会超过油画（西方绘画的“终极”，不过是数码照片的“质感”）价格，创造中国“神话”！
