Issue: All original 47proximity keys of HONDA 2020 AVANCIER are lost

Solution: Program new keys by doing AKL with OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus via OBD

Advantage: No need to change a new IMMO box! Save a lot of time and money!

Preparation:

OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus (same as Key Master DP Plus)

Main cable

Two blank keys to be programmed

The key adding function is available by connecting the server. Ensure the internet connection is normal during operation.

Operation:

Connect X300 DP Plus to the vehicle via main cable

The IMMO indicator is on

Then operate on the tablet

Select Car IMMO>> Honda/ACURA>> HONDA/ACURA latest software version>> HONDA>> Manual Select Model>> Asia>> AVANCIER>> PROXIMITY>> BUTTON>> Type (2019- ) (depending on the car type)

Double- click start button

• Ignition is still off, click Esc.
• Ignition is on, click Enter

Press and hold the start button till the ignition is on

Then select SMART KEY>> All smart keys lost

Read the programming conditions and notes on the screen carefully:

Programming conditions:

1. No fault codes
2. Make sure you have all proximity keys to be programmed

Programming notes:

• Make sure the following matters, in order to minimize the noise source when programming the proximity key.
• Turn off the switch, such as a navigation system and audio.
• Keep the proximity key and the diagnostic tool separated by approximately 1 m (3 feet)
• Close all windows, sunroofs and doors

The function will erase all keys, click ENTER to continue

Turn off the ignition (Press the engine start/stop button, be careful not to depress the brake)

Wait for the ECU to stabilize

Place an original proximity key in the vehicle, and remove all the proximity keys in the vehicle

Double click start button again till the ignition is switched on

Press and hold the start button

The ignition is turned on, release the engine start/stop button

It is a new model, click Enter

Enter the register smart keys number you need

Here input 2

Confirm the value

Take out all the register proximity keys from the vehicle (make sure they are two meters away from the vehicle)

Then only take one smart key into the vehicle within 100 seconds

Turn off the ignition

Take the proximity key to be programmed out of the vehicle

Place the first programmed key back into the vehicle

Turn on the ignition

Take the first key just registered two meters away from the vehicle, then take into the second key to be programmed

The smart key has properly been registered

Turn off the ignition, then turn on

Now the IMMO indicator is off

Click Enter to continue

Turn off the ignition…then turn on

Registration has been completed

Turn off the ignition…on

Now the all smart keys lost process is done

Click key quantity to see the current key number

It shows 2 keys registered in the ECM/PCM

Finally, test the two keys and work well
